'CCTV captures of alleged London bombers 10 days before attacks'

From The Independent, 21 September 2005.

The questions still to be answered:

CCTV images released by Scotland Yard allegedly show three of the four alleged bombers using the route they allegedly took on the day of the blasts. The police claim that nail bombs found in a silver Nissan Micra at Luton station were primed and packed in a rucksack.

The Independent asks:

1. Why was Hasib Hussein, the man who allegedly carried out the suicide bombing on the No 30 bus in Tavistock Square on 7 July, not part of the "dry run" on 28 June?

2. Who made the bombs? Police say the devices showed sophistication and expertise, yet none of the bombers is known to have had any detailed knowledge of explosives.

3. Was there a Pakistan connection? At least two of the bombers reportedly travelled to Pakistan several months before the bomb attacks.
